A young girl of 17 years had strangled her new born baby girl to death in an office toilet simply because she felt she could no longer afford to raise her.
A cleaner who discovered the lifeless remains of the innocent baby inside a waste bin in the toilet immediately alerted the police.
On arrival, the officials saw a strip of cloth around the dead baby’s neck which was a clear indication that she must have been strangled.
According to Worldwide Weird News, Li became the prime suspect after she called in sick for several days after the baby was found. When Li was questioned by police, she confessed to killing her baby with a cloth torn off from a mop.
Li who was arrested and charged with murder told invesigators during questioning that she was not aware that she was pregnant until a colleague observed that her stomach was fast protruding.
She further disclosed that she went to a doctor to help her abort the baby but her plea was rejected which left her with n other option than killing the baby after having her.
