Must read

Former Chairman of the Borno State chapter of the All Nigeria People Party (ANPP), Alhaji Muhammad Imam on Friday, October 31, obtained the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination form in Abuja to contest for the office Borno State governor in the 2015 elections, Vanguard reports.

Imam, who had served as a commissioner in various ministries in the administration of former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu-Sheriff recently decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP.

His declaration makes him the first individual to obtain the PDP governorship nomination form in the terror-troubled state.

Imam said: “I have by the grace of Allah bought the PDP nomination form and that of the expression of interest to contest the governorship of our dear state Borno come 2015, I don’t have much to say for now until I return to Maiduguri to officially declare my intention and grant a press conference to that effect”
