7 Things To Change In Your Life If You Are Tired Of Being Single

Must read

Are you tired of being single? Fed up with dead end relationships and bored with being home alone? For many people a patch alone can start a downward spiral of low self esteem, frustration and even desperation which starts to make us behave in ways which we wouldn’t have done before and in ways that may actually be making us less appealing to men. If you’re on that downward spiral of low self esteem, then here are a few things you might want to think about:Stop worrying about being singleThe first step is simple. Stop worrying about it! There’s no crime in being single and you don’t need to change all that you really are to make yourself more attractive to men. Being you and being confident about yourself is an attractive trait in itself and men would still far rather find a woman who has had fewer partners in her life rather than many anyway.

Don’t be negative about men

If you’ve had a bad experience, then don’t tar all men with the same brush. Not all men are uncaring, selfish and out for only one thing. Most are caring and tender and, if your suspicion about their motives comes through in the way you behave, you’ll put the best ones off very quickly.

Don’t try and rush things

Give the guy a chance! If you stop worrying about being single you’ll stop rushing into relationships that don’t last. Get serious when you’re ready and not just because you don’t want to lose him. You might think that the way to a man’s heart is through his trousers but that’s not the case, if you are looking for a long term and meaningful relationship.

Relax and be yourself

Relax and just enjoy yourself, it’s just a date. Make an effort and dress for the occasion that just shows that you care about the date, but remember to try and not be so uptight about it; you’re both there to have a good time, not conduct an interview.

Stop being so picky

So you know what you want from a man…but does he have to tick every single box? Perhaps his twenty out of ten on one criterion will make up for the five out of ten on another? Relax and give it a chance, your initial scoring might have been wrong anyway.

Don’t push him

The guy’s great and you want to move on to another date or the next step. Avoid the temptation of pushing too hard for the next date, you don’t want to sound desperate. Remember, men like a bit of a challenge anyway.

Pick up your self esteem

Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and remember who you are. Every day you walk out your front door could be the day that you meet someone special, so be ready for it! If you don’t have confidence in yourself, how can you expect others to have confidence in you?

In today’s world of online dating, speed dating and the like, it sometimes feels that you should be able to place an order for love as you would a Chinese Takeaway! ‘I’ll have dark hair, a sense of humor and a caring personality, please, and can you deliver on Wednesday?’ Unfortunately, life’s just not that simple but if you have the belief that it will happen, then it probably will and in the most unexpected of places. Be prepared and remember to love yourself.
