Former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi has lost his wife, Kate Keshi, to the cold hands of death in the United States, Complete Sports reports.
Bereaved Keshi disclosed that his wife had been sick for a while even though he least expected that the undisclosed ailment would claim her life on the fateful Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
A close friend of the former Togo and Mali coach who confirmed the sad news said: “She (Keshi’s wife) has been ill for a while now but the death is coming as a big shock to us.
“Keshi is very downcast at the moment because we know how dearly he loves his wife.
“She is more like a sister to me and was the rock behind me and everything I do. My love for her was at first sight.”
Keshi had said that the arrangements for the burial ceremony of his late wife who was ‘more like a sister’ to him would be made public in the coming weeks.
