We Don’t Need Change, President Has More To Offer – Gov. Aliyu

Must read

Executive Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, on Monday, January 26, 2015 said the call for change in government from some quarters was unnecessary, as President Goodluck Jonathan still has a more in store for Nigerians.

He made the assertion in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, while paying a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kagara, Alhaji Garba Attahiru, condemning the spate of violent/terror attacks in country as he believes it is capable of disrupting the conduct of the forthcoming polls.

He said: “The call for change is unnecessary, if someone has stayed long out of office, it will take him another four years to learn if he gets to office before he can finally catch up.”

The Governor further besought political parties and politicians to call their followers to order, as violence will not get anybody anywhere.

“After the elections, we will all have to live together; so we should not do things that will further divide the country. I plead with political leaders to call their supporters to order,” the governor said.
