Chris Brown Released On $250k Bail Following Arrest Over ‘Possession Of Deadly Weapon’

Chris Brown, who was reported to have threatened a guest at his home on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, after an argument has been arrested.

A woman, Baylee Curran, according to TMZ, filed a report on Tuesday claiming that Brown had pointed a gun at her. This prompted the police to obtain a search warrant on the pop singer’s home.

The singer was reported to have thrown a duffel bag containing two guns and drugs, out of the window, while refusing to leave the apartment.

Curran had told TMZ that, even though Brown had always been nice to her in the past, he was recently hostile.

She says that Chris Brown had asked her to leave harshly, after she admired a piece of jewelry at his apartment while pointing a gun at her.

She also claimed that Chris Brown would not let her leave his apartment with her cell-phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement.

She refused, leaving the house without her phone.

Chris Brown was taken to the police station for processing a deadly weapon.

This is not the first time the Grass Ain’t Greener singer is being arrested for felony. In 2009, he turned himself over to LAPD after he physically assaulted his then singer-girlfriend, Rihanna.

In the same year, he was also charged for for felony and making criminal threats to which he pleaded not guilty. He accepted community labor, five years’ formal probation, and domestic violence counseling.

According to ABC, Brown has been released on $250,000 bail.

His lawyer, Mark Geragos, took to Twitter to make the announcement on Tuesday night.
