The Bible described events that would precede the coming of Our Lord and Saviour, Yeshu’a The Messiah, by saying in Acts 2:20 “the sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of The Lord”.
Today, NASA has warned Americans and those living in the Pacific regions to expect a phenomenon called a ‘blood moon’.
What this means is that the moon will turn blood red today. On the 3rd of November 2013, there was a total eclipse visible throughout Africa and parts of Asia, Europe, North America and South America. Maybe this may sound like superstition to you but consider that on Tuesday October 1st 2013, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quotes Scripture 5 times including the end time prophecy of Prophet Amos “I will plant them upon their soil never to be uprooted again” – Amos 9:15.
This is not the first blood moon the world will know, neither is it the first total eclipse humanity has witnessed. And yes, the State of Israel has been in existence since May 14, 1948.
However, taking all three events holistically, the present sequence of events are unique and should make believers pause for sober reflection. As you read this, all kinds of thoughts may go through your head. You may think I am a nutter, superstitious, brainwashed or dead accurate in my eschatology. Whatever thought you lean to, consider this one-will you be ready when Yeshu’a shall come?
