Headies Blues: Rapper, CDQ Appears To Mock R’n’B Sensation, Praiz [TWEETS]

Must read

The Headies 2015 may have come and gone but the intrigues surrounding the popular award ceremony remain.

Fast rising indigenous rapper, CDQ recently took shots at R’n’B star, Praiz. The former mocked the latter for being nominated in six categories at the Headies 2015 but not being able to pick up any award.

“I tink Praiz is d most humble artiste in dis industry. @Headies hw dem go nominate pesin 6 categories and zero award ? ma ti ko ecomog wole,” he tweeted.

Not satisfied, he shared a screen grab of the tweet above with the caption: “Woss I think Headies should create another category of award “The Most Humble Artist of The Year” ? if u support ‘Nowo e soke’ ☝”

Sequel to the 2015 Headies which took place on New Year Day of 2016, fast rising rapper CDQ appeared to take some shots at R’n’B star, Praiz for bagging six nominations but not winning an award.

Praiz has since issued a matured response to that. He quoted CDQ’s tweet and then wrote: “Bless my Gee !! We stay shinning”.

Some observers believe CDQ’s original comments were not aimed at Praiz but a sublime way of mocking fellow rapper Olamide’s actions on stage. The jury is out on this one.
