First Lady Michelle Obama is making sure no one will forget her presence at the White House.
At Tuesday night’s final state dinner for the Obamas, FLOTUS appeared in a stunning, rose gold chainmail Atelier Versace gown.
It capped off an excellent few days for Michelle, who dropped the mic on Trump last Thursday with a powerful speech on his leaked comments about women.
The Obamas were hosting the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife Agnese Landini at the White House for their 13th and final state dinner on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Many people on Twitter quickly noticed the US first lady’s look and were impressed.
After eight years in the White House, this isn’t the first time the first lady has wowed with her style choices.
She’s become known for her bold and fashion-forward looks, from her blue dress at the Democratic National Convention and her marigold outfit at January’s State of the Union address .
Guests at the dinner were served an Italian-inspired meal cooked up by celebrity chef Mario Batali, the Associated Press reports .
The four-course menu included butternut squash salad and American Wagyu beef. For dessert, guests had green apple crostata and buttermilk gelato.
To make things even more stylish, the White House lined up Gwen Stefani to perform.
