Senator Ben Murray Bruce has in a series of tweets warned government officials including governors to desist from sending him hampers this festive period as he can afford it.
He also advised them not to waste millions for the decoration of government houses and streets this yuletide period but should rather use the money to pay workers’ minimum wage.
For those government officials who have not paid workers’ salary but insist on bringing Christmas hampers to Senator Bruce, get ready to have your gift stoned back at you.
Govs who cant pay ₦18K minimum wage should not be allowed to spend multi millions on Christmas hampers for people like me who can afford it.
