Kelly Osbourne Quits Fashion Police After 5 Years

Must read

The Fashion Police co-host, Kelly Osbourne, has resigned from the show following the controversy surrounding co-host Guilana Rancic.

This was disclosed on Friday, February 27, 2015 through a statement from E! network which reads:

“Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”

The 30-year-old had threatened to leave the show earlier this week, after her co-host Giuliana Rancic made offensive comments about the Disney movie teen star, Zendaya Coleman‘s hair at the Oscars saying her dreadlocks made her “smelled like patchouli oil” or “weed.”

Rancic made a public apology to Coleman but sources revealed Osbourne, who had been with Fashion Police since 2010, was unhappy about the recent production of the show especially after the death of Joan Rivers in 2014.

Kathy Griffin was brought in as River’s replacement, and Brad Goreski replaced George Kotsiopoulos.
