Kidnappers Release Julius Berger Staff In Ogun

The gang of four assailants have released the German employee with Julius Berger construction company Nigeria who they abducted on Friday,October 24, 2014, following an ambush on his way to the company’s quarry at Ogbere, in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State in the company of his colleague who later died in a hospital after receiving some gunshots from the thugs.

This was disclosed by the Ogun state deputy police spokesperson, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi, who said he was released in the early hours of Thursday, October 30, 2014, and had gone back to his office in Lagos.

Oyeyemi, who was silent on whether any ransom was paid or not, said the command would make the state safe and conducive for socio-economic activities adding that, members of the public should be ready at all times to support and cooperate with the command, Punch reports.
