Gruesome: Ritualists Kill Man, Pluck Out Son’s Eyes In Bauchi

Pandemonium broke out in the Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State when a group of 10 men suspected to be ritualists invaded the house of  one Yakubu Ubandoma, attacked him by stabbing him on his neck and severing his hands.

According to Vanguard reports on Thursday, October 23, 2014, not only did they amputate Ubandoma, they also plucked the eyes of his son identified as Ishaya Yakubu during the attack.

Furthermore, one of the residents at Ubandoma’s house allegedly sustained some injuries on the head emanating from machete cuts from the hoodlums who escaped after the attack.

Some police detectives who visited the scene rushed the victims to Toro General Hospital where Ubandoma unfortunately gave up the ghost.

Confirming the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed disclosed that all hands were on deck to pin down the perpetrators of the evil act.

“10 suspected ritualists, wielding dangerous weapons, stormed the house of one Yakubu Ubandoma, located about 10 kilometres away from Rimin Zayam Village in Toro council, stabbed him on the neck and cut off his hands.

“The suspects also removed the eyes of his son called Ishaya Yakubu, who later died in the hospital.

“One other person in the house, Yakubu Alhamdu, sustained machete cuts in the head,” Mohammed said.
