Perhaps, the most popular Scriptures; John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
As we celebrate Christmas we must remind ourselves what it’s really about: we were dying because of sin, but God sent His Son, Jesus, to deliver us from death by making eternal life available for us. And He did that because He loves us.
I John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
We have life! Hallelujah! And that’s why we continue to celebrate Christmas, because He was born that we might live. We now live with this hope in our hearts. Never say that you don’t have a testimony; you do! He has given you eternal life! Glory to God!
