If Pharaoh had known he would not have pursued the Israelites; he gathered his best soldiers and chariots to chase and recapture the Israelites not knowing that they were being set up for destruction.
Understand how God operates: Micah 4:11-12 says, “Now also many nations have gathered against you, who say, ‘Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.’ But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, nor do they understand His counsel; for He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing floor.”
When you hear that certain people have gathered, or are conspiring against you, that’s not the time to panic! Understand at that point what’s going on; they have been brought together as sheaves to the threshing floor! The psalmist said, “Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure.” Victory is yours, in the name of Jesus!
