Suge Knight Arrested In Hit And Run Incident That Killed 1

Death Row Records founder, Marion “Suge” Knight has finally reported himself in to Los Angeles Police, following a hit-and-run incident that left one man dead and another fatally injured, on Thursday, January 29, 2015 following a fight on a film set.

According to the police who witnessed the incident, the 49-year-old regular convict drove his truck over the men in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in Compton , shortly after an argument broke out on a film set. .

The Los Angeles County sheriff’s department, in a brief statement released on Friday, January 30, 2015 stated that Knight was at the West Hollywood station with his lawyer and was being interviewed by homicide detectives.

Although Knight’s lawyer, James Blatt has argued that what happened was an accident that was not intended, Police stated that some witnesses maintained that the incident as deliberate, and suggested that it should be treated as a homicide.

According to ABC7 News, Knight’s truck was later found abandoned in a car park in Westwood, about 32Km from Compton.

The sheriff’s department had earlier issued a bulletin, warning all resident of southern California and the law enforcement agency to “be on the lookout” for Knight, as he was considered armed and dangerous.
