A blind mystic who claims she could see the future has made some really grim predictions about 2016.

Baba Vanga of Bulgarian descent who has lots of followers reportedly predicted the September 11 attacks on the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001.

She also reportedly predicted the rise of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS, the Chernobyl disaster and the 2004 tsunami.

Vanga who lost her sight as a child following a storm claimed she could see into the future, stating that invisible creatures helped her.

Ten years after her death and her name still rings a bell as it was claimed that she predicted ‘a 2016 invasion by Muslim extremists’, and said by the end of the year 2016, Europe would ‘cease to exist’.

It is claimed she foresaw 9/11, claiming: “The American brethren will fall after being attacked by steel birds.”

Her supporters also reckon she predicted ‘a great Muslim war’ which many believe meant she knew Isis was coming.

Vanga who was born in 1911, apparently said chemical weapons would be used by extremists against Europeans.

Although some persons who were close to her claim too many myths have circulated about her, and she did not make all the predictions she is credited with.

Her record is patchy, to say the least. She apparently predicted the 1994 World Cup final would be played between two teams beginning with B. In fact, Brazil and Italy met in the final.

She is also credited with predicting World War 3 would start in November 2010 and end in October 2014 – another prophesy in dispute, as others say she claimed there would never be a third world war.
