Boko Haram Now Wear Uniforms To Identify Members – Army

Nigerian army of the 22 brigade garrison, on Monday, April 25, 2016 revealed that the Boko Haram terrorists have designed uniforms for identification of members.

The discovery was made when the 22 brigade garrison and some elements the 3 battalion of the Nigerian army went out on long range fighting patrol in Gima village in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.

In a statement by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations Officer, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said the patrol team came in contact with the Boko Haram terrorists attempting to escape on sighting the troops.

He said they were able to apprehend two terrorists on their way in new styled uniform of green colour and ropes on their legs and necks.

According to him, this is a new development in the ongoing clearance operations of the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists in the North Eastern States of the country.

In addition, he said the patrol team recovered 1 Isuzu Canter lorry which was found concealed with grasses, 5 motorcycles and 2 bags of guinea corn.

Other items recovered include 3 Dane guns, a Solar panel, 3 bows and arrows.
He said the arrested terrorists are currently being interrogated to further assist in the clearance operations.
