Must read

Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt has beat American sprinter, Justin Gatlin in the 100 metre final in Beijing, China.

This victory makes Usain Bolt a record three time 100 metre world champion. The only other two athletes who have won the 100 metre world title thrice are Carl Lewis and Maurice Greene.

Gatlin who was on a 28-race winning streak before now started off better than the reigning world champion but Bolt who has been suffering a pelvic injury picked up later in the race and narrowly beat Gatlin by just 0.01 seconds.

Many consider Bolt’s victory one for the sport as Gatlin has previously served two different doping suspensions.
