Many Students Feared Dead As Female Suicide Bomber Attacks Kano Polytechnic

Kano State Polytechnic has been attacked by the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram killing six students.

A female suicide bomber on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 blew herself in the school campus while students were checking NYSC mobilisation list.

Kano State Police Command has confirmed the blast in the school.

This is the fourth time a female bomber has attacked the city in a week, an official said.

“At about 2.30 pm, another female suicide bomber exploded an improvised explosive device at the Kano State polytechnic… Six persons were killed,” government spokesman Mike Omeri said in a statement.
