Buhari Shakes Hands With Queen Elizabeth Weeks After Snubbing Female Ministers (PHOTOS)

President Muhammadu Buhari was lambasted in Nigeria for refusing to shake hands with female ministers in his cabinet at their swearing ceremony on November 11, 2015.

Buhari appears to be applying double-standards on his stance with shaking hands with women. An image of the President, who is currently in Malta for Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, shows him shaking hands with British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

Buhari was photographed shaking hands with new wife of Edo Governor, Adams Oshiomhole during their wedding in May, 2015 drawing the irk of his religious fundamentalist supporters for shaking the hands of a woman.

It appears Buhari favours foreign women more than Nigerian women.

Public relations experts, has criticised Buhari for refusing to shake the hands of his female ministers saying that his actions were unethical and makes the women ministers look inferior.

Buhari, a former military ruler, has been dogged with allegations of being a Muslim fundamentalist following his public comments on Sharia and sympathy for the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram.
