Canadian Sisters Arrested In Lagos After Blackmailing Femi Otedola With Sex Tape (PICTURED)

Must read

Two Canadian sisters, Jyoti and Kiran Matharoo, arrested after blackmailing and threatening oil magnate, Femi Otedola with “video evidence that he is cheating on his wife”.

The Toronto-based sisters are currently being detained in Lagos, after threatening to post a sex-tape involving Otedola online. According to Toronto Star, their arrest followed a private investigation. It is, however, unclear which security agency arrested the duo.

The foreign women, apparently in the “modelling/escort” business, have been in the business of targeting rich men around the world with their alleged cyberbullying business. The sisters have a substantial Instagram following of over 50,000 and identify as socialites.

According to Politics Nigeria, the Matharoo sisters attempted to blackmail Femi Otedola by posting the supposed evidence of the billionaire’s sexual indiscretions on a notorious sex-scandal website, NaijaGistLive, they created for the purpose.

Court documents dated December 20, 2016, and published on the online news site, shows that Matharoo sisters are accused of being a prolific blackmailing escort team who specialise in sex-tape blackmail using NaijaGistLive and “several other social media accounts  on Instagram and Twitter which they use for bullying and their victims are as many as 274 rich men across Africa.

Global Affairs Canada, confirmed to Toronto Star, that consular services were being provided to the Canadian citizens who have been detained in Lagos, Nigeria.
