Dear El Rufai, Apostle Suleman Has A Message For You All The Way From Scotland

Must read

So, Governor Nasir El Rufai has been on a media campaign against Apostle Johnson Suleman over the prophet’s curse placed on the Kaduna governor.

This whole confrontation started when El Rufai proposed a religious preaching bill that requires that preachers obtain a licence before practicing in Kaduna State in Northern Nigeria. Suleman is one of Christian clerics to publicly speak out against the bill.

On several occasions, he has issued warnings to the Kaduna governor to cease-and-desist from pursuing the bill which Suleman believes is unconstitutional and designed to Islamize Nigeria. On Sunday, El Rufai challenged Suleman to provide the day he would die to prove his authenticity as a prophet.

Suleman is currently in the United Kingdom where he is holding a series of miracle services. On Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Aberdeen, Scotland, the fiery preacher who hasbranded El Rufai, “Herod of Kaduna” and said he would die, addressed the issue of Islamization of Nigeria and said it “is not going to happen”.

“Right now, there is a plot to Islamize Nigeria, and it will not work and it cannot work,” Suleman said at the service which was tagged ‘Raw Power’ and held at the Hilton Treetops Hotel in Aberdeen, Scotland in the United Kingdom. The programme also holds in Manchester at Maxwell Hall at the University of Salford on Wednesday and Thursday.

Then, Suleman talked about a declaration he had given about the Kaduna governor that he would die. He said he still stands by his declaration. The cleric also noticed that media houses and blogs owned by Muslims are writing disparaging things about him, but he is not moved.  He insisted that he stands by his prophesy and El Rufai would die for his actions against Christians and Christianity in Kaduna State.

The prophet, who is founder and senior pastor of Auchi-based Omega Fire Ministries, has also condemned El Rufai’s plan to demolish the Christian community of Gbagyi in Kaduna. Gbagyi is a community with 4,000 homes including 41 churches, all of them have been earmarked for destruction.

The Constitution And El Rufai’s Religious Preaching Bill

Legal analysts have said that the religious preaching law is unconstitutional, it infringes on freedom of worship, and that it would be thrown out if challenged at the Supreme Court.

Another emerging Christian preacher, Dr. Chris Okafor, has also issued an ultimatum to Governor El Rufai to either retrieve his Religious Preaching Bill or face the wrath as God as Herod in the Bible did. Speaking at his Liberation City Church headquarters on Sunday, March 20, 2016, Okafor said, “El Rufai, Herod, leave the church alone!”

Both Suleman and Okafor have said that El Rufai was only being sent to test run the religious bill – which they strongly believe is anti-Christianity – and that once he succeeded, other states in Northern Nigeria would institute the bill to legitimize the persecution of Christians in Northern Nigeria. They insist that El Rufai’s religious preaching bill is part of a larger plan to Islamize Nigeria.

Last week, El Rufai confirmed to the press that other Northern Governors have requested copies of his religious preaching bill with the view of replicating them in their states. This only solidifies fears about the Islamisation plot of Northern Islamists in the country.

Already, Christians in Northern Nigeria suffer untold persecution even death, at the hands of Islamists. Open Doors, an organisation that tracks the persecution of Christians around the world, reports that 3 million Christians have fled their homes in Northern Nigeria over prosecution by the Islamist terrorism and attacks from Muslims.

The controversial religious bill makes it an offence to play the preaching of an “unlicenced” preacher in a car and says that music cannot be played in a church event between the hours of 8pm and 8am. It also provides for a 2 year jail sentence for people who preach in Kaduna without a license.
