Fear Grips APC Rivers Over Impending Supreme Court Defeat, Resort To Blackmail Of Justice Odili, Others

Must read

[dropcap]J[/dropcap]ust last week a report emanated from Chikere Byke Wanjoku, a close associate of the Minister for Transport Rotimi Amaechi and Chief sponsor of the embattled and defeated candidate of the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dakuku Peterside. The report alleged among other false claims that Emmanuel Aguma, SAN, the Commissioner for Justice and Honourable Attorney General of Rivers State was allegedly bitter with the way and manner Governor Wike was going about governance and disrespecting others.

That false report apparently didn’t yield much result prompting the poster and members of the colony of falsehood, APC, to go back to their drawing boards to concoct something more mischievous and perhaps damaging.

This new malicious and defamatory allegation is unsigned and without any named author except that it was posted by Mr. Byke Wanjoku from where it is being shared by gullible psychopaths.

Every claim in it is false and the figment of the imagination of the author and poster. One should not have even joined issues with the promoters of this and other falsehoods but for the fact that this particular one is targeted at defaming and blackmailing the Honourable Justice Mary Odili of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with the intention to achieve imaginary objectives.

Sir Emmanuel Aguma will not be drawn to or be distracted by these recurring inanities from the Rivers State Chapter of the APC. The people of Rivers State, themselves, already know where they stand politically. They know who their enemies are. They know those, who like Judas, represent and pursue the continued betrayal of their trust and are anarchists against their well being and development. The history of betrayal that trails the APC in Rivers State cannot be rewritten and not even while the injuries have turned sores with the continued betrayal of the people of the Niger Delta by Mr. Amaechi.

The APC in Rivers State, including her sponsors like Rotimi (formerly Chibuike) Amaechi and Akuku Peterside must know that no amount of blackmail of the very distinguished Justice Mary Odili will rewrite the principles of law and justice in Nigeria. The Supreme Court cannot be intimidated by the inferiority of partisanship or politics, much less infantile blackmail from known anarchists. Justice must prevail and that’s all Rivers people pray. Drawing inspiration from the words of Sun Tzu that the “Wheels of justice grind slow but grind fine”, the hopes of Rivers people invested in patience will not be cut short.

Blackmail already spells defeat for the APC. Yet, again, they got this one totally wrong and it will backfire in Jesus name.
