The Ijaws of Niger Delta has described the Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson as a blessing to the Ijaw in particular and the Niger Delta in general, Vanguard reports.
The group made this known while felicitating with the governor as he marked his 50th birthday anniversary.
“Our Governor truly epitomizes hard work, perseverance doggedness, diligence and patriotism. These are the virtues of the True Ijaw Man,” they wrote.
They also lauded Dickson’s outstanding performance as the governor of the state especially in the face of economic challenges ’embarrassing low oil prices in the international market and the hopeless declining value of the Naira’ that has plagued the nation.
