Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their son into the world on Saturday, and on Monday, they announced he shall henceforth be known as Saint West.
Yep, that’s right. Saint West. His sister North is in good company.
Kardashian announced the little guy’s name and birth weight in a note to fans on her official website.

The choice of name isn’t too surprising, since Hollywood Life reported in November that the parents were throwing around the idea of naming their son Saint or Legend — and it seems they definitely picked the better moniker.
And while everyone loved to joke that Kimye would surely name the baby either South or Easton, Kardashian was pretty clear that another directional name wasn’t in the cards.
“I don’t like South West, though, because that’s like, you know, North will always, you know, be better and be more … she has a better direction,” Kardashian told NPR in June. “So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction.”
The new baby’s name certainly isn’t common, but Kardashian and West’s son won’t even be the only Saint in Hollywood’s sandbox. Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz and girlfriend Megan Camper welcomed a son in August and named him Saint Lazslo.
