A 37-year old man started suffering from a rare case of Persistent Genital Arousal Syndrome when a disk in his back slipped while he was getting out of a chair in September 2012 and has lived like with the terrible consequences ever since, Metro UK reports.
Dale Decker, a father of two has had to quit going out for fear of climaxing in public, siting an example of a time when it happened at a local supermarket with about one hundred and fifty people staring at him.
Decker said: ‘‘Imagine being on your knees at your father’s funeral beside his casket – saying goodbye to him and then you have nine orgasms right there. While your whole family is standing behind you. It makes you never want to have another orgasm for as long as you live. There’s nothing pleasurable about it because even though it might feel physically good – you’re completely disgusted by what’s going on.’’
His 33-year old wife April has been supportive of him since his condition began but says its really hard to live with as the couple barely ever have sex even though he has a near permanent erection.
She said: ‘‘We really struggle right now as he is unable to work and supply for his family and I feel like all the strain is on me. It’s really upsetting, we don’t do things that man and wife should do and we argue over things that should not be affecting us.’’
