Viral photos have emerged of a 30-year-old male high school teacher attempting to rape a female student in broad daylight.
The teacher identified as Mr Huo committed the act by pushing the unnamed student against a wall on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Taiping High School in Guangxi, China.
The student was saved by the intervention of other teachers of the school who pulled her away and called authorities.
Huo who has a record of mental illness and was treated for mental issues in 2011 was arrested and taken into custody.
The school confirmed the incident in a statement where it said that after two years of treatment in 2011 the teacher was deemed fit to return to work and had not had any further issues.
