Parking in central London can be a nightmare – but one unfortunate driver won’t be trying this again in a hurry.
Pedestrians and workers on Harley Street in Westminster were left bewildered when a Citroen people carrier was left on top of four motorbikes – opposite an eye clinic.
It later emerged a woman had crashed into the bikes after losing control of the vehicle.
Police said the woman had been treated for neck injuries after the incident at 11.30am yesterday. The area was later cordoned off while the car was recovered.
Onlookers tweeted their confusion after coming across the bizarre scene.
Rob Madden, a physio at nearby health centre CHHP, said: “New way to park on Harley Street. Any one work this one out!?!? Crazy!”
