SCANDAL: Buhari Is More Interested In Protecting Crude Oil Than Human Beings

Must read

by Kalu Aja

There is a lot of raw anger….

People are usually sad when they lose a loved one, so why is there anger?

Because it appears that the government is more interested in protecting crude oil than human beings…

Haba! That’s a harsh unpleasant statement to make I hear you mutter…..Let me make my case.

Exhibit 1. Rivers Rerun elections
During the Bayelsa elections, there was a lot of political killing, before and during the elections, even though the army and police were deployed, the violence did not stop, the Bayelsa elections were even declared inconclusive…

EMPHASIS: Bayelsa borders Rivers State,

In the run up to the Rivers State legislative elections, there were a lot of killing of Nigerians, political killings…

What was the response of the federal government?

As a responsible government, the federal government acted on intelligence and deployed the army, the police, the DSS, the civil defense, everyone was deployed…three helicopters were deployed, a paper even reported fighter jets were deployed…three Police AIGs were deployed, a sitting minister was also “deployed” all to Rivers state…

Mr. President addressed the nation on the Rivers elections…Twice! He spoke about the violence: “We will show that violence in any form will no longer be tolerated before, during or after elections,” the president said at an interactive meeting with Nigerians resident in Equatorial Guinea.

There was unfortunately violence in Rivers during the rerun…

The DSS after the violence in Rivers made arrests, they arrested many including the secretary to the state government (SSG), Hon Kenneth Kobani, on criminal charges

OK

Exhibit 2. Killings in Nsukka

There was a genocide in Agatu in Benue State as declared by the United Nation’s representative.

EMPHASIS: BENUE borders Enugu State

What was the response of the federal government to genocide in Benue?

NOTHING

No wait…the inspector general of police went to Agatu and held a “town hall” where the perpetrators of the violence told him they killed, they confessed… then gave him reasons for killing…

Did DSS arrest anybody? Based on the confession?

Was any special army, police, DSS, the civil defense unit(s) deployed to the border areas? Was any helicopter deployed? Fighter jets? Any AIG deployed? Any minister? …

Did Mr President address the nation on Agatu killings?

The Minister of Interior however spoke, he said and I quote: “’The perpetrators of the dastardly acts were unwittingly testing the will and capabilities” of the government, and that the present administration would not fail in its duties to ensure the security and welfare of the people as enshrined in the Constitution.”

“The Minister has therefore vowed to mobilize security forces to decisively deal with the perpetrators of these dastardly acts,” papers reported.

So people committed genocide in Agatu, confessed, and nothing happened, so why won’t they try it in Enugu? Across the border?

Why did the President and his government respond so forcefully to Rivers rerun elections but did nothing about Agatu genocide?

The answer is simple, Rivers State has oil and gas pipelines… Rivers states has oil and Gas… Enugu and Benue do not.

You can’t kill people in Rivers or Bayelsa, the army will be deployed, the DSS will make arrests, but Enugu and Benue are free fire zones.

Don’t get mad at me, I just presented my exhibits to you, you can counter by showing me a statement made by Mr President on Agatu, not by his spokesman. Or on Nsukka or arrests made after Agatu or Nsukka… fault my submissions, prove me wrong.

So let me end by giving advice to Enugu and Benue States, the only way to avoid being in the “free fire zone is to do any of the below:

1. Declare the lands unoccupied as grazing land
2. Seek the NNPC to lay pipelines on the borders of your states, the army will come and guard the borders you will be safe.
3. Fast and pray…

In closing, yes Mr President has not spoken…has any South East elected official spoken?

Has any governor in South East spoken? Any senator? Any legislator? Okay, has any past governor spoken? Any past senator? Any past legislator, past vice president? Past senate president? none?

Okay, has any business leader from the South East? Any sports man? Any activist? Any academician? Any music star? Any Nollywod actor spoken against this evil?

Has anyone one with small influence spoken up….? No one?

Okay, then.

You know who will speak up? IPOB and MASSOB… this is exactly how Hitler came to power in Germany…the silence of the elite…

It is well…
