#SoundOff: How Buhari’s Arrogance Reignited A Royal Crisis In The Niger Delta

Must read

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]an someone tell General Muhammadu Buhari to stop being a simpleton?

You concocted the most heinous lies over their son, made Nigeria ungovernable for him, gave him the impression he can please you guys, a lie he fell flat for, own all their oil blocs, and then after getting rigged into office, you proceeded to show them unimaginable arrogance, treating them with utmost contempt, like they are a conquered territory and you expect what? A yearlong resounding standing ovation? This is the kind of simple mindedness that I can never figure out!

Which South South people are in Buhari’s government besides those seen as betrayers from the region? I don’t know by what logic he expects cooperation from the region, oh I get it, the Fulani superiority complex, some socio evolutionary trait they don’t think is out of tunes with times. He expects them to ‘fall in line’ the moment he ‘seizes’ power.

I keep hearing this MOST OFFENSIVE sentiment, ‘he is your president whether you like it or not’ and those that want to be purer in that demagogic form will add ‘deal with it’. With this conqueror mentality, you still demand co-operation?

Which type of co-operation can come out of coercion and intimidation in a democracy? This ‘African-head-teacher-to-his-pupils’ approach can only create a second African village headmaster, and I mean that in every import of the Zimbabwean scenario. Only that Nigerian population will lead to a humanitarian disaster of unimaginable proportions.

Buhari should be scared of the orderliness, discipline and clarity of purpose this new breed Niger Delta militants are coming with, he should be really really scared. I have asked before if you can wage a war without money, but these people don’t get it. He that is down has no fears, Niger Delta knows the best for them right now is to shut off their oil, bring Nigeria to her knees, and chart their future.

A holistic understanding within the Biafran areas will be the end of Nigeria as it stands. Buhari has catalysed it, and his propaganda efforts to initiate divide-and-rule clearly is falling apart.

Well done Niger Delta Warriors. Continue with the intelligent resistance being shown so far, no noise, no girigiri, just plain methodical decapitating actions that show capacity and capability.

By the way, who know who Niger Delta Avengers and Red Egbesu Water Lions are? For all practical purposes, they are ghosts and that’s my point; how can you deal with ghosts? That is one of their NUMEROUS tactical advantages!

The Dasuki angle though!
