#SoundOff: Dear Buhari, Nigerians Are Not The Top Criminals In The UK [STATISTICS]

For the records, nearly one in ten of the 11,000 foreign prisoners ­clogging up the United Kingdom’s overcrowded jails are from one country, Poland. There are 989 Poles jailed in the UK.

The next worst offenders are Ireland, Jamaica, and Romania followed by Pakistan, Lithuania before Nigeria.

I’ve not heard of the Polish President going to the UK to cast aspersion on the Polish in the Diaspora nor have I heard this done by any of the other countries presidents.

What is Buhari really up to?

So Buhari has graduated from demarketing Nigeria as a country to criminalising Nigerians in the diaspora? How can a President of a country slander his own citizens by saying foreign countries will find it hard to grant them asylum because they are criminals?

Hard working Nigerian men and women abroad who remit home an average of $2 billion annually are criminals?
