Please note the word “all things” in the scripture above; it doesn’t matter its nature, form, who is behind it, whether its so painful or pleasurable, for a short or long duration, all things work together for good to those who love God. Hallelujah!
Yes, even bad and unpleasant experiences are working together for your good! Even when you are being victimized! Here’s why: because we serve a God Who is capable of turning things around; He can bring forth good out of any bad situation!
After Jacob died, the ten sons who sold Jacob were afraid that Joseph would deal with them for what they did to him, so they all went to seek his forgiveness. But Joseph being a man of insight said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
