With just three days left to the handover of governments following the recent elections, the outgoing Taraba State Governor, Danbaba Suntai on Monday, May 25, 2015 has reportedly moved his personal belongings out of the Government House in Jalingo, the state capital.

Mr. Suntai has been recuperating in Government House following severe brain injuries he sustained in a plane crash on October 25, 2012, a year into his second term as governor.

Abubakar Sani Danladi, who has been ruling the state as acting governor is said to have purchased the house the Governor will move into .

According to The Nation, he started packing his belongings on Monday, May 25, 2015 and continued that exercise on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Since he reportedly does not own a personal house, his personal items were moved into a new house bought for him by his deputy.
