Reports emerged on Monday, December 1, 2014 that the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola has been ruled out as a possible vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The reason being that the likely presidential candidate will be of the Muslim faith, hence a Christian candidate will be preferable to avoid fielding a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Nollywood actress, Omotola jalade-Ekeinde shared her thoughts on religion and zoning playing a fundamental part in political parties decisions of aspirants.
She believes emphasis should be placed more on the individual candidate.
She took to Twitter to air her views:
