There was a fire outbreak at the UAC building at Marina, Lagos Island on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency, the fire started at around 12:55pm.
It is not yet certain the extent of the damage done by the fire, but feelers reaching us showed that fire fighters are currently bringing the situation under control.
LASTMA added that emergency responders were on the scene of the fire.
It, however, failed to state, whether they were casualties or not.
Twitter users have also been sharing photos and videos from the fire outbreak.
Glasses have been shattered in the fire and properties destroyed.
Staff have been evacuated and can be seen standing downstairs watching the building burn.
The fire service are currently making frantic effort to completely to put off the fire, an eyewitness revealed.
