Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the present crop of northern leaders are responsible for the backwardness of their region.
According to Vanguard, Osinbajo made the telling remark at the opening ceremony of Northern Reawakening Forum (NRF) Summit, held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Speaking at the summit tagged: “Building a Safe, Secure and Economically Inclusive Northern Nigeria,” Osinbajo said the crop of Northern leaders in the country have abandoned diligence and selfless service in favour of personal aggrandizement.
