A couple who met themselves on Instagram became the internet sensation after they got married few seconds after their first real meeting.

The mother of three, Erica Harris, of California, met Arte Vann, of New York in March 2015 and the story began, form the scary first move, to friendship and then the start of a beautiful together forever.

Harris disclosed  to Daily Mail how she had stalked Vann for some time after his cute profile picture caught her fancy but got even more attracted with the way he responded to friends on his photos.

She simply  took the bold step and liked a few of his photos and after noticing the new admirer, Vann tagged her in a selfie.

Harris subsequently followed Vann and of course he followed her back and direct messaging and photo comments followed suit.

She said: “What drew me to him is a lot of men, you can tell how they are to women through their comments.

“I saw that Arte was very personal, and he was very attentive, and thought “Wow this guy seems like a nice guy”

Months later the couple had made new profiles, before Vann got into a fatal accident that paused the communication for a while.

Harris said: “I messaged him ‘Arte i need you’ and nothing. A week later, nothing.

“Unbeknownst to me he got into a car accident and wrapped himself around a tree.”

Much later, Vann started planning a trip to meet Harris in person for the first time. It was then that he realised that if he went to visit her, he wouldn’t want to return home afterwards.

So he quit his job and booked a one-way ticket to California and on arrival at the airport, they read their vows to each other and got married with ‘God as their pastor’ and CBS News so they could document the moment.

Harris said: “I didn’t realize how much I love this man. Now that we’ve spend three days together, I can’t believe how much I love him.

“I believe this man deserves a lot of love, and I want to give him the love he gives me.

“[Calling CBS] was a present to his mom, because she wouldn’t be at the wedding since we were eloping.

The couple who say they are madly in love have updated their Instagram bios already.

While Harris wrote that she’s married to the man of her dreams, Vann’s own page says: ‘Married to the love of my life’.
