Shooting Stars’ defender Jamiu Alimi has been called up to the Super Eagles camp ahead of this month’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Swaziland.
Alimi’s late invitation is as a result of the injury sustained by German-based defender, Leon Balogun.
Alimi’s name will now replace that of Balogun in Sunday Oliseh’s 24-man squad.
Alimi Alimi was part of the home–based senior Eagles who beat Burkina Faso over a two-legged encounter in October to qualify for the 4th African Nations Championship finals in Rwanda.
