Laura Jean Shoulders will spend 27 years behind bars after she recorded herself performing sexual acts on a 1-year-old girl she was babysitting.
The horrifying crime was carried out after the 47-year-old Oklahoma woman met a man on Craigslist in 2012 and agreed to make three videos for him, according to the Associated Press.
Court documents show that the Burns Flat woman began exchanging explicit messages with the unidentified man, including photographs. Their exchanges escalated, and she began filming the abuse in April 2013, Fox News Oklahoma City reports. The recipient then shared the videos with alleged pedophiles online.
Shoulders pleaded guilty to producing child pornography in February 2013. She’ll have no possibility of parole and she will have to register as a sex offender when she’s released, according to the Daily Mail.
Her attorney, Brooke Tebow, didn’t return calls for comment, the AP reports
