Biden Leading In US Presidential Race As Trump Wins Key States

At last count, Democrat candidate Joe Biden was leading the US presidential elections with 220 electoral college votes against incumbent Republican Donald Trump’s 213. The magic mark to win the US election is 270 votes.

Voters in America took to the polls on November 3, 2020 to decide whether Donald Trump remains in the White House for another four years.

The Republican president is being challenged by Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden, who is best known as Barack Obama’s vice-president but has been in US politics since the 1970s.

As at press time, Trump has won the state of Florida, Utah, Ohio, Iowa and Montana, Idaho, Missouri while Biden has won the states of Minnesota, Hawaii, New Hampshire, California, Oregon and Washington.

Biden is leading in the popular votes by over a million agaisnt Trump.
