The Nigeria Correctional Service in Owerri, Imo state came under Heavy attack as there was heavy exchange of fire and the facility torched.
Prisoners were allegedly freed in the attack which lasted about three hours in the early hours of Monday, April 5, 2021.
Casualties have not yet been reported.
