BREAKING: Tiger Woods Involved in Rollover Crash in Florida

Must read

JUPITER ISLAND, United States — Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car crash in Florida on Friday, according to local authorities.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026. Officials did not immediately release further details about the crash or Woods’s condition.

Woods, 50, had competed earlier in the week in the finals of Tomorrow’s Golf League, where his team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, was defeated by Los Angeles Golf Club.

The incident follows a serious car crash involving Woods in 2021 in Rolling Hills Estates, California.

Authorities said at the time that he had been driving at least twice the posted speed limit in a 45 mph zone when his vehicle struck a tree, causing it to become airborne and overturn.

Woods sustained significant injuries in that crash.

Investigators said there were no signs of impairment, though the handling of the case drew scrutiny after authorities did not obtain a search warrant for blood tests that could have detected alcohol or drugs.

Woods was not charged in connection with the 2021 incident.

In 2017, Woods entered a clinic for treatment related to prescription medication following an arrest in Florida for driving under the influence.

Authorities have not said whether the circumstances surrounding Friday’s crash bear any similarity to previous incidents.
