Twenty people are now lying critically ill in various hospitals in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, following the collapse of a church building as a result of heavy rain and storm that ravaged the city Monday.
Those affected were working on a nearby building site when the rain drove them into the church premises for shelter.
They were under the make-shift structure of the new Generation Church identified as National Apostolic Church of Nigeria when the building collapsed on them, leaving over 20 injured while about 30 others escaped unhurt.
