An American couple reportedly tipped a waiter $100 (equivalent of N16,000) after the quality of service they were afforded in a restaurant in Iowa ‘sucked.”

According to Makenzie Schultz saying the gesture by herself and her husband, Steve who were out to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary was a way of “paying it forward.”

According to a post on her Facebook page, she said she and her husband understood what the waiter, who had as much as twelve tables to tend, was going through as they had been in the same position – serving tables some time in the past – was going through.
