British boy Alfie Rose celebrated his fourth birthday in style – with a life-sized replica chocolate sponge cake of himself.
His mom Chantelle Rose was amazed by local baker Lara Clarke’s delicious 28-pound doppelganger.
It took a painstaking 15 hours and cost a staggering $660.

But the 23-year-old mom from Birmingham said she “couldn’t have been happier” with the result, which also featured her son’s favorite monkey cuddly toy.
“I couldn’t believe how amazing the cake looked, and I just cried. Alfie was so happy. He was just screaming and pointing, ‘It’s me, it’s me, it’s Alfie and monkey,” she told the Birmingham Mail.
“It was such a brilliant surprise and, considering Lara had never met Alfie, it was amazing that she managed to get it that detailed,” the singer added.

Clarke, from nearby Walsall, made 12 tiers of sponge before coating them in chocolate and buttercream icing.
The cake was then airbrushed with edible food coloring.
Rose confessed her family found it “difficult” to chop the cake up as they “didn’t want to hurt it.”
And it was so realistic, she added, that some guests at her infant’s party asked why a little boy was sitting on the table.
