LAGOS, Portugal — Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr have touched down in Lagos, Portugal, with superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo headlining the squad as they begin the next phase of their 2025/26 preseason preparations.
The club wrapped up a training stint in Lisbon and confirmed the transition via social media, posting: “Lisbon chapter closed, Lagos chapter loading.”
The message signalled a shift to more intensive drills in the scenic coastal city as part of the team’s build-up to the new campaign.
Among those travelling with the squad is newly signed Portuguese forward João Félix, who joins a star-studded lineup led by Ronaldo.
The presence of the former Atlético Madrid player adds further firepower and tactical versatility to Luis Castro’s side.
Al Nassr’s preseason momentum is building after a 2–1 win over French side Toulouse, with Ronaldo scoring in the match—much to the delight of fans.
The goal was another reminder of the 39-year-old’s continued prowess on the pitch, even as he enters his third season in the Saudi league.
Photos and videos shared by Al Nassr on their official X (formerly Twitter) account captured the players’ arrival in Lagos, where they were greeted by fans and locals eager to catch a glimpse of Ronaldo and his teammates.
The training camp in Lagos is expected to feature a series of closed-door sessions, tactical refinements, and at least one friendly match before the team returns to Riyadh for the season kickoff.
