I was at a funeral today and my phone was losing battery power.The entrance and exit to the venue was blocked because of VIP movements which meant I could not charge my phone.
The thing is that my physical phone was very much with me but because it had no power it was useless and I lost ability to receive communications. After the event I charged my phone and messages and alerts started coming in. And it hit me!
When we don’t charge our spirit man by prayer, it shuts down and we are not able to receive communications from our Spiritual Father, God.
Just as the physical phone was with me but was powerless, our physical body can be with us and even be thriving and getting fatter and more muscular, but without spiritual power it is powerless!
It is not until you charge your spirit man through prayer which connects you to the God of power that you receive prayer and restore your ability to receive from God! “repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of The Lord” – Acts 3:19.
