Daily Meditations: Signs Of The Times

Must read

Think about this: Valentine’s day is a day meant to celebrate agape love, but today it is symbolized by a winged cherub with an arrow which symbolizes the Roman god, Cupid.

Easter is day meant to celebrate the resurrection of Yeshu’a (Jesus) but today it is defined by the Easter Bunny.

Christmas is a day that allegedly celebrates the birth of Christ, but has come to be represented by a fat man in a red and white suit and long beard called Santa Claus or Father Christmas.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us think deep to what Yeshu’a said in John 4:24 that “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”. Do we worship Him in spirit and in truth when we conform to the times we are in and do things because everybody is doing it? What are the origins if these so called innocent symbols that have crept into Christendom?

When everybody puts pressure on you to be like them, remember that nobody will be standing with you on that terrible day of judgment.
