The Edo state House of Assembly has suspended its speaker Hon. Uyi Igbe and six other members on Tuesday, June,10 2014 at the State House of Assembly.
The members in company of suspended deputy speaker Festus Ebea , arrived in the complex in an unmarked bus and gained access into the chamber after a mobile policeman accompanying them assisted in destroying the lock.
According to Nation, the lawmakers were suspended in a sitting presided over by Ebea, which lasted about five minutes.
The gathering broke into a free for all fight when the Speaker arrived the chambers.
Policemen used teargas to disperse the thugs who were at the house of assembly.
Crisis have been brewing for some time now at the assembly as the deputy speaker and three other members where suspended last week.
